HKFC Bids Farewell to James Harley
The squash section would like to bid farewell and good luck to long term squash team player James Harley, Kaz and family as they are returning to England after nearly 8 years in Hong Kong.
In that time James has played squash in the HK league every season. He started in division 13 and worked his way up playing in various divisions to div 5. He has been the team convenor in four of these years and has won the double twice. He is an active member around the club and is always up for a game against many different players and can often be seen on court hitting his trade mark left hand drives down the line. James was always good value at the squash socials with one of the highlights being the start of season ‘titanic’ pool party where he dressed in a not very water proof sailors outfit.
James and Kaz will be missed around the club and in HK in general. Good luck to you all for your new future in the UK and playing on those cold damp courts!! Make sure when you next visit HK you come down for a hit.
