The winter league is approaching the business end of the season with teams fighting it out to win the league title and to ensure they get a spot in the top 4 so they can take part in the play-offs. Many HKFC Squash teams are well positioned for the final push to ensure there is silverware coming back to the courts of sports road.

Division 2

Ho Fai Chiu’s HKFC 2B team is in 3rd place with chances of catching Young Player 2 in 2nd. HKFC 2A are in 4th place but there is a large gap between them and the 2B team. KCC 2A are the team to beat and look like winning the league outright. The 2B team has Raymond Chiu and Ho Fai Chiu ranked 4th and 5th respectively in the divisional rankings.

Division 3

HKFC 3 convened by Elliot Froidevaux are in 3rd place and are well set to get a playoff position and have a chance to catch table topping KCC. Eric Ho and Keith Frith are ranked 3rd and 6th in the league.

Division 4

Division 5

David Robinson’s HKFC 5 team is having a tough year in a strong division. A play-off position looks to be just outside of their reach.

Division 6

Julian Tanner’s 6B are in lying in second position with Kien Ng’s 6A team only 5 points behind with a game in hand. In a very tight division the play off places will go to the wire with 6 teams all in contention to get the 4 spots available. 6A’s Terry Lo is ranked in 4th position in the divisional rankings.

Division 7

The division 7 team’s good start has continued with them topping the table and being a full 17 points clear of second place. With only two lost matches all season they look to be cruising to league victory and will be favourites to do the double. The league is tightly contested but they now have a little cushion to make them favourites for the league title with a couple of big games still to be played which will decide the overall positioning. Division 13

HKFC ably led by Damien Laracy look to have secured a playoff place already as they are well ahead of 4th position in the number 3 slot. There is still a chance to top the division by the end of the season with some big games still to be played. Newcomer Arthur Maloy is ranked 5th in the league with Nick Organ and Krzysztof Kostienko both unbeaten to date this season.

Brian Taam’s 14 B team are lying in 6th and will need a good push in the remaining matches to secure a playoff place. James is topping the table in the divisional rankings as well with an unblemished to date 9-0 win record with William Wong also unbeaten so far. Fred Teng is the top ranked 14B player in 6th
