Arrival Information (For Overseas Players)

While airport pick-up will not be provided, the following public transport options from the airport to the city centre include:

By Bus
You may take the Cityflyer bus according to your destination.

If you would like to go to Hong Kong Football Club from the airport, you may take the A11 Cityflyer bus, alighting in Causeway Bay at stop No. 12 Tonnochy Road or No. 13 Wan Chai Fire Station.  Hong Kong Football Club is a 10-15 minute walk from each of these stops.  If you would like to go to the South Pacific Hotel, you should alight at stop No. 12.

The A11 Cityflyer adult bus fare from the airport to stops No. 12 or No. 13 is HK$40.00.

By Train
You may take the MTR Airport Express from the airport to Hong Kong station.

If you would like to go to Hong Kong Football Club or South Pacific Hotel, change to MTR Island Line from Hong Kong station to Causeway Bay station.  Both locations are a 10 minute walk from Exit A of Causeway Bay station.

The MTR Airport Express standard adult fare is HK$115.00 and the MTR standard adult fare from Central to Causeway Bay is HK$5.50.

By Taxi
A taxi from the airport to Hong Kong Football Club or South Pacific Hotel is likely to cost approximately HK$450 to HK$500.00

 

Tournament Check-in

On the day of the competition, upon arrival of the tournament venue, players should check-in at the Tournament Office at Hong Kong Football Club.  Directional signage will indicate the route from the ground floor lobby to the squash courts and tournament office.

Shuttle bus service between the two tournament venues will be provided during the tournament hours.

HKFC can be reached by MTR Island Line’s (Blue colour line) Causeway Bay station.  Hong Kong Football Club is a 10 minute walk from Exit A of Causeway Bay station.

Players staying in South Pacific Hotel can easily walk to Hong Kong Football Club in 5 minutes.  For more information, please refer to the route marked in the google map image below.

HKFC can be reached by MTR Island Line’s (Blue colour line) Admiralty station.   From Exit C1 of Admiralty station, Hong Kong Squash Centre is a 10-15 minute walk through Hong Kong Park.

Use of HKFC Facilities (For Overseas Players) 

  1. Designated adult accompanying a player will be eligible for temporary membership of the Club from 18-23 December, both dates inclusive. 
  2. Designated adults may obtain their temporary membership in the main reception at the Club one day in advance (18 December, 2018).
  3. During this period, all temporary members will be allowed to make use of the Club’s sports and leisure facilities free of charge.
  4. Designated adults will also be allowed to make use of the Club’s food and beverage outlets. Details of the Club’s sports and leisure facilities, food and beverage outlets and the hours of operation can be found on the Club’s website.
  5. Temporary members who wish to use the Club’s food and beverage outlets will be required to purchase a debit card to pay for their food and beverage consumption in the Club.  Cash cannot be used anywhere in the Club.
  6. Temporary members must carry their temporary membership card with them at all times when in the Club.  Temporary members will be required to show their temporary membership card when making use of the Club’s sports and leisure facilities, including the booking of squash courts for practice purposes.
  7. The Club’s wifi code will be provided to temporary members when they check-in.
  8. The Club does not permit the use of mobile phones to make voice calls inside the Club’s premises.  A fine of HK$200.00 will be levied for breaches of this regulation.  Multiple breaches may result in temporary membership privileges being terminated.
  9. All temporary members are subject to club rules. 

 

 

Tournament Software (For Overseas and Local Players) 

We will be using SportyHQ for entries and the running of the Tournament.  We encourage all participants to register on SportyHQ (https://www.sportyhq.com/).  Registration on the system is free.

It is not mandatory but useful as it will show players details of their individual upcoming matches. Draws still available to all players, whether they are registered or not."

主辦單位將在比賽期間使用SportyHQ 系統。我們鼓勵所有參賽者在SportyHQ上免費註冊為會員(https://www.sportyhq.com/). 該系統是免登記費的。登記並非必要但登記的球員可更方便查看他們下塲比賽的資料。但無論登記與否,賽程表仍然會發給各球員。

Practice Court Information (For Overseas and Local Players)

  1. Practice courts in the HKFC are available one day before the tournament (18 December, 2018).
    參賽者可比賽的前一天 (12月18日)用香港足球會的壁球場作為練習場地。
  2. Each player can only book ONE session (30 minutes).  每位球員只可預定一節練習時段 (30 分鐘)
  3. Players can book practice court session in advance by emailing juniorsopen@hkfcsquash.com.  Temporary members may also book the courts in person at the Club’s Sports Desk which is located on the first floor of the Club.   參賽者可透過電郵juniorsopen@hkfcsquash.com提前預定在香港足球會的練習場地。臨時會員亦可親自到足球會位於一樓的櫃檯預約練習時段。
  4. Courts are allocated in a first come first serve basis.   練習場地按先到先得的原則分配。

Trophy Media Ceremony (For Overseas and Local Players) 

  • Trophies for all events will be presented immediately on the conclusion of all matches, estimated to be on the afternoon of the final day (23 December, 2018).
    獎杯將於所有比賽結束後立即頒發。預計在12月23日下午會頒發獎項。
